Years ago I woke up each morning and wrote 10 things for which I was grateful. Days turned to months and with a laundry list of things to do, my gratitude journal turned into just another thing I had to get done. I was no longer present as I wrote but rather just writing to get it done, so I stopped. Fast forward…Today I write one thing Im grateful for each day and allow my gratitude to flow throughout my body as I breathe in thankfulness. Sometimes its nothing more than “Im grateful for a restful nights sleep.

How grateful are you? Here is a list of questions you can reflect upon to see.

    REFLECTION QUESTIONS

*On a scale of 1-10, how consistently grateful would you say that you

    are?

*What comes to your mind when you think about gratefulness?

*Do you believe that gratefulness is powerful? Why or why not?

*Is gratitude an integral part of your life? Why or why not?

*Is it easy or hard for you to be grateful? Why?

*How would your relationships change if you were more grateful?

*What challenging situation are you experiencing right now? How can

you be grateful in the midst of it?

*Why is it so powerful to constantly say, Thank you, to others?

*What is the connection between health and gratefulness? Have you seen any ways in which being grateful has strengthened your health?

*Who will you write a thank you note to today?

How did you do? I believe we can all use a little more gratitude in our lives. Why not make a commitment to practice more gratitude each day and see what happens?

    Feeling grateful for you,

    Jeanne
